James & Katrina’s wedding at Parklands Quendon Hall, in Essex, was one of my last weddings of the season, and what a fantastic affair it was! I met Katrina & James a few years ago at another wedding that I shot, and it turned out that, on the day, there were three previous couples as guests, as well as some of their families, which made it feel like I was photographing old friends, it was really special. If you haven’t … Read More
Recommended Wedding Photographers for Swynford Manor I first met Marcus and Samantha when I photographed Sam’s brother getting married last year, so this was a very easy wedding, as I already knew many of the guests. I started with preparation shots at Sam’s parents’ house, then we made our way to the church of St Andrew, Chesterton, for the ceremony. This church was where Sam’s parents and her brother got married, so it has become a bit of a family … Read More
Congratulations to Matt & Catherine, married last week at The Sheene Mill in Melbourn, Royston. Catherine and Matt were lucky with the weather, so the ceremony took place outside, over the lake. It was a very intimate affair and very nice to photograph. Congratulations to you both, have a great honeymoon!
We had the pleasure of photographing Louise and Robert at the lovely Sheene Mill in Melbourn, on Thursday 16th June. Luckily, Louise had chosen to make use of the temporary marquee, as exactly as the ceremony finished, it started pouring down – got to love the unpredictable British summer! Rob Gough was at the wedding reception, wowing the guests with his great magic skills, and once again, the photo booth was out for the quests to enjoy in the evening. … Read More
Barrington Hall Wedding photographers On Sunday, 15 May 2016, we will be exhibiting at Barrington Hall‘s first wedding festival! We are very excited about this fresh concept, which aims to move away from the traditional wedding fair, to give brides and grooms-to-be a fun experience, with a festival flavour (think quirky, vintage, boho), in beautiful surroundings near Cambridge. We will be joining other passionate wedding professionals to help you plan a wedding less ordinary. Our wedding photography style firmly focuses on … Read More
We were busy at the weekend with pre-wedding shoots (did we mention that we let our couples have their pre-wedding shoot images free of charge?!), and much to our surprise, the weather was kind to us! We met Sara & John, who will be married at Hilton Church in July, with the reception at one of our favourite Cambridge wedding venues, Rectory Farm; we also photographed Jo & Rob, who will be having an outdoor wedding ceremony in June, at … Read More
Last weekend, we were back at The Garden Barns in Little Bradley, this time for Katrina and Lawrence. We love to photograph at this wedding venue, it has a stunning barn and a pristine garden, so there are plenty of opportunities for a nice shot. Katrina got ready with her mum, future mother-in-law, and bridesmaids, in the cottage, at the entrance to The Garden Barns, just a 30-second walk to the venue! She was in a great mood, very relaxed … Read More
Wedding photography at The Old Hall is always a pleasure, it is a stunning wedding venue, with beautiful views of Ely Cathedral in the distance. At the weekend I was there for Camilla and Adam’s wedding, after the wedding ceremony at St Andrew’s Church, Chesterton. Camilla and Adam were very easy to photograph and I am very glad that their wedding has been earmarked for a magazine feature in the autumn. Watch this space! 🙂
Bassmead Manor Barns is a beautiful wedding venue, and offers wedding photographers the opportunity for some stunning wedding photographs. We were at Bassmead for the wedding of David & Lucy, a couple from Cambridge who chose Bassmead for its charm and individuality. The ceremony took place in the Rickety Barn, followed by a reception in the main hall.
Another beautiful wedding at The Sheene Mill in Melbourn, near Royston, it is always good to go back there! I met Tom and Liv around 18 months ago, when I photographed the wedding of Liv’s sister, Sophie. Liv and Tom are lovely, so I really enjoyed photographing them, and it also helped that I recognised most of the family! The ceremony took place at St Helen’s Church, Little Eversden, where several of Liv’s family also got married over the years. … Read More
