Wedding FAQ
FAQ answered by Cambridge Wedding Photographers, Invision Photography.
How long on the wedding day does the photographer stay?
This is what often secures us work, as we start our photography at the brides preparation, and carry on through until around midnight (if that is what is required). Neil feels that as you have asked him to capture your day, he likes to capture the whole day, not just the middle third.
Where would you be prepared to travel?
We are based in Cambridge, but find ourselves covering weddings anywhere in the UK. We also work from Sibiu, in Romania for around 2 months of the year.
What quantity of images would we expect to receive from our wedding day?
Neil will usually take around 1000 images, but would aim to narrow this down to around 350 of the best for presentation.
How about last minute bookings?
We try to only shoot around 25 weddings a year, but if a last minute enquiry comes to us, we will try to help if available.
What deposit is required?
A 25% is required to reserve the date, 25% 6 months before the wedding day, and the balance 1 month before the wedding day.
Do we have to have group shots?
No, Neil is not a fan of group shots, but he does recommend to have between 10-15, even if this is just for the family. He will however take as many as you require.
Will the photos take a long time to edit and be put online?
Usually around 1 weeks from your wedding day. We will try to have your photos ready for viewing and on an online album before you return back from your honeymoon.
How many images should go into our album?
Our package includes the first 20 sides, so depending on style, you could have between 50-100.
Where is the Pre-wedding shoot carried out?
Preferably somewhere fairly picturesque and quiet, with special meaning to you both, but Neil can recommend a few great locations.
