This was the perfect example of a summer wedding at Madingley Hall! Stunning location and architecture (Madingley Hall, Cambridge), Pimm’s and bubbles on the lawn, Panama hats, summer dresses, garden games (the croquet was particularly popular!), good music, good food, glorious weather! The day started at Madingley Hall, where I met Angelique for a few bridal preparation photos. We then took a trip into Cambridge for Angelique and Jan’s Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony at St Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church. I had photographed a Romanian Orthodox wedding a couple of years back and the similarities were striking. Over the May Bank Holiday, I was at Madingley Hall, for Christina and Tom’s wedding. What started off grey and rainy turned into a very sunny day, which actually makes wedding photography much trickier! The venue and grounds are stunning though, so we found plenty of fantastic photo opportunities. A very enjoyable Cambridge wedding, with some seriously impressive moves, from one guest in particular! 🙂 All the best Christina and Tom!
