In the morning I met up with Hayley, her mum, and bridesmaids at her house for a few preparation shots. I always like this part of the day, I get the chance to take some artistic photographs, and also get to know the bridesmaids a little.
Hayley had a beautiful carriage arrive with two magnificent Shire horses to take her to St Peter’s Church in Yaxley, where Andrew was eagerly awaiting her arrival.
The ceremony went very smoothly, then we set off for The Bell Inn, in the village of Stilton, famous for its cheese making. This was my first visit to this venue, but although it is only small, it is very nice. I particularly like the cobbled stonework inside, as this always makes a nice backdrop for close up shots.
Rob Gough was the magician entertaining the guests, and he did a fine job, even teaching me a trick to show my son, who was thoroughly impressed.
Andrew and his twin brother/best man were quite the dancers and enjoyed showing their moves on the dance floor.
Congratulations Hayley and Andrew.
